Online Tuition in Pune
For Pune's CBSE, ICSE and Maharashtra State Board (SSC) families — one tutor across all three.
Pune's reputation as an education hub means genuine choice in schools — CBSE, ICSE and Maharashtra State Board (SSC) all have a strong presence — but also genuine competition, with students expected to perform well from an early age. We build our lessons around your child's actual textbook and school pace, so tuition reinforces classroom learning instead of introducing a different approach.
A lot of Pune families we work with are IT or manufacturing-sector professionals managing long work hours, which makes flexible scheduling important. Online classes let us fit around that, whether it's an early evening slot or a weekend session, while still giving your child the one-on-one attention a large school classroom can't.
Why parents choose Vihakids for this
- Matched to CBSE, ICSE and Maharashtra State Board (SSC) coursework
- Flexible evening and weekend scheduling for busy working families
- One-on-one attention a large classroom can't always give
- Available for English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Kannada
Boards and languages in Pune schools
Pune sits on the same Maharashtra State Board as Mumbai, with the Class 10 SSC exam, alongside a large number of CBSE and ICSE schools serving families who move into the city for work or study.
Marathi is a compulsory language subject in Maharashtra schools, and we do not teach it — a local tutor is the better answer there. Pune parents most often come to us for Mathematics and Science from Class 6 onward, where the SSC and CBSE syllabuses both pick up pace, and for Hindi writing practice.

Questions parents ask
Do you teach Marathi?
No — Marathi is a compulsory school language subject in Maharashtra, and it is outside our five subjects (English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Kannada). A local Marathi tutor is the right answer there.
Which classes and subjects do Pune families use you for most?
Mathematics and Science from about Class 6 onward, where both the SSC and CBSE syllabuses pick up pace, plus Hindi and English writing practice. We teach Classes 1 to 10.
What do classes cost?
The first class is a free 30-minute demo, with no payment details taken. Regular classes are a simple monthly fee for 8 or more classes, with no other commitment. The fee depends on the class and the number of subjects, so we share it with you on WhatsApp after the demo — you decide only then.
