Online Tuition in Ahmedabad

For Ahmedabad's CBSE, ICSE and Gujarat State Board (GSEB) families — one tutor who knows all three syllabi.

CBSEICSEState Board

Ahmedabad's fast-growing CBSE and ICSE school scene sits alongside a strong base of Gujarat State Board (GSEB) schools, and many families we work with are choosing between the two for the first time with an older or younger sibling already in a different board. We teach to whichever board and textbook your child's school actually follows, so there's no mismatch to work around.

Ahmedabad's business-focused, often entrepreneurial households can mean unpredictable work hours for parents, which makes a flexible online tuition slot genuinely useful. We keep sessions one-on-one so a shy or hesitant child gets the same attention as a confident one, across English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Kannada.

Why parents choose Vihakids for this

  • Matched to CBSE, ICSE and Gujarat State Board (GSEB) coursework
  • Flexible scheduling for unpredictable business-family work hours
  • One-on-one attention regardless of how confident or shy a child is
  • Available for English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Kannada

Boards and languages in Ahmedabad schools

Gujarat’s state board, the GSEB, runs the Class 10 SSC exam, and Ahmedabad has a steady shift of families moving children into CBSE schools for the NCERT syllabus. Both routes are common enough here that a tutor has to ask which textbook is on the table before planning anything.

Gujarati is taught as a language subject in schools across the state, including many CBSE ones, and it is not a subject we teach. Ahmedabad families come to us mainly for English — spoken confidence as well as written marks — plus Mathematics, Science and Hindi.

Questions parents ask

Do you teach Gujarati?

No. Gujarati is a school language subject across the state, including in many CBSE schools, and it is outside our five subjects — English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Kannada.

Can you teach a GSEB child and a CBSE child in the same family?

Yes, and we do it often. Each child gets their own one-on-one class taught from their own textbook, so the syllabuses never get mixed up. Families taking two or more subjects or children usually ask us about fees together — we share those on WhatsApp after the demo.

What are the usual class timings?

Early morning, after school, evenings and weekends. The slot is fixed with you on WhatsApp after the free demo class and stays yours week to week.
