Plurals are how we say "more than one". This worksheet starts with picture words, moves on to sorting, and ends with the trickier -y words.

💡 Plural rules

  • Most words: just add -s. cat → cats
  • Words ending in s, ss, sh, ch, x or z: add -es. bus → buses
  • Consonant + y: change y to i and add -es. baby → babies
  • Vowel + y: just add -s. boy → boys
